Monday is the big day! Cafe Latte Shakeology will be available. I had the privilege of trying it this past weekend. Some friends and I had a drinking party, and we all loved it. We simply made it with unsweetened almond milk and ice. It was so smooth and had a subtle coffee flavor. I will be ordering some on Monday for sure.
Our party was at the Atlanta Super Saturday, which was held at Georgia State University and attended by over 450 people. That was our biggest event ever, and we more than tripled our attendance from one year ago. Atlanta is on the map, yo!
According to a 2005 article in “Life Extension Magazine,” the coffee berry can help with blood glucose management. The coffee berry contains glucose-6-phosphatase, an enzyme that reduces blood sugar levels and slows down the reaction of glycogen. Coffee consumption in general might reduce the risk of diabetes. Because the coffee berry contains all caffeic acids and other phytochemicals lost during the production of standard bean coffee, the benefits are even higher.
