3-Day Refresh Day 3

The 3-Day Refresh is really great! I did it last weekend for the 2nd time and will do it again in February. I have to fast for a doctor visit, so I figure I might as well get some benefits from the fast.

My biggest piece of advice is to up the portions. If you follow the portions from the program, it will be around 900 calories per day. If you feel like a rockstar, you can stick to those portions but personally, I wanted to be able to function somewhat normally, so I increased the portion sizes. Last weekend I was hungry the first day, lethargic the 2nd day, and felt great the 3rd day. I also did coffee in the morning every day like I always do with 2 drops organic Stevia and a splash of unsweetened almond milk. I also used unweetened almond milk with my Shakeology to add a few extra calories.

I continued taking all my other supplements (multivitamin, joint support, krill oil) and I didn’t work out.

That’s about all I can think of. I can’t say enough good things about the Refresh. I think it’s so awesome for everyone to do at least 2x/year or even quarterly. I think a 3-day break from grains is good, and of course animal products.
